Cutting down and removing a tree is a skill that takes years to feel comfortable and confident in doing properly. After all, you're hanging off a tree by a harness that is dozens of feet off the ground. It's heavy work carry a chainsaw, lifting heavy branches, working in the heat with bugs and pests. Its very easy to get injured so it's important that only a professional take on these larger scopes of work. When hiring us, we take all the necessary steps and precautions to make sure that we're being as safe as possible, but also to make sure that the entire jobs ends without anyone or anything getting hurt, injured or damaged. We've seen many job sites end up wrong and we do everything we can to ensure that doesn't happen.
Once a tree trunk has been cut down, you're left with a tree stump that can either be ground up, complete removed, or left to be. In most instances, if you've gone through the process of completely removing the tree, it's worth it to also take care of the stump. We have all the tools, equipment and staff necessary to address this for you.
Sometimes it's not the entire tree that you'd like removed, instead, you're just looking to remove a large branch or limb that is overgrown and if it falls, can cause bodily injury or property damage. It's certainly something you want to avoid either way, so we'll work with you to ensure you minimize any liability due to overgrown trees on your property. We understand that it could be a large expense upfront, but this upfront cost is certainly nothing compared to your potential expenses should an accident arise. Tree limbs should be approached with a certain level of care as they can also be diseased, under-nourished, or mal-cared for. If they are diseased, we can design a regimen to treat, reverse, and prevent the disease from spreading. Other times, it's just too late and it makes more sense to cleave off the isolated branch from the rest of the tree to prevent any additional spreading. Whatever the situation is, we'll always communicate our findings with you and discuss all your possible options. The final decision lies with you and we'll happily take action with your direction.
Not every job we undertake requires a permanent removal of a tree. Many times, homeowners realize that the location where they first planted a tree is no longer suitable and it's best to transplant the tree to another location on the property. This can be for multiple reasons including a lack or abundance of sunshine, proximity to other trees, proximity to insects and other pests, lack or abundance of water, soil quality, lack of space, and a multitude of other reasons. Whatever the reason may be, transplanting a tree is hard, back-breaking work, especially if the tree you're working with is a mature tree. Let us help you transplant the tree - we have the experience, staff and equipment to handle this type of work. We also know a few tricks of the trade!
There are times where mother nature has a different plan in mind. She can, on occasion, be cruel and rough and she can damage personal property within a blink of an eye. When storms come rumbling through, she can take down large trees causing destruction and a tremendous amount of property damage. if this has happened to you, and you need a clean up crew to cut down trees into smaller, more manageable pieces, feel free to give us a call. We offer emergency service during these times of need. We also see snow and ice storms that weigh down large branches causing them to stress, crack and break onto power lines. This can be extremely dangerous and you should not attempt to remove the branch. Only a qualified professional should attempt removal of the branch. Live power lines themselves can cause fatalities if touched!
Shrubbery also needs frequent and scheduled maintenance and pruning. As trees and shrubs become overgrown they end up being more exposed to damage, lack of water, lack of nutrients, and ultimately disease leading to death. When trees and shrubs are properly pruned, they are healthy, vibrant, strong, absorb sunlight better and process photosynthesis more efficiently. Not only that, but shrubs that are maintained aesthetically look better and have a much nicer curb appeal on your property. If you're selling you're home, it could help you sell much quicker and if you're buying a home, it will likely make you feel more confident that the homeowners did a good job of taking care of the overall property.
Sometimes, trees can end up growing unproportionately and the weight from one of the tree branches can cause it to literally tear or rip away from the tree trunk. As the weight of the tree limb becomes too great, the tree can literally split in half. At that point, the tree may not be salvageable and would need to be completely cut down. Before your tree gets to that point, it is possible to perform a procedure called cabling and bracing. This procedure essentially "ties" or "reinforces" the tree back together, and with encouragement, the tear begins to fuse back together again. There are times when the tear is too great and the tree will not recover, so timing is extremely important with this procedure. As soon as you notice a break or tear in your tree, give us a call and we'd be happy to assist you with this service. It is technical and a solid strategy must be put in place, but years of service have taught us best practices.
Give us a call for any of your tree care needs. We'd be happy to provide a free estimate and scope of work and we do our very best to schedule a time that works for you!
